Some of the food substitutes are just plain nasty. I’d dine with him every now and to show support, as this area isn’t exactly vegetarian/vegan friendly. You’re apparently threatening people’s way of life, or some such nonsense.

Focusing my attention on the list, monitoring cheese for rennet would be a pain. Bratwurst is popular around here. It would be hard to leave that.
